Deb Bixler provided a fabulous day of skill building for a room FULL of Thirty-One Gifts consultants at the Hooksett Public Library, Hooksett, NH. I was thrilled to partner with Directors Sheree Schuler, of Minnesota and Dede LaBelle of Milton, NH to offer a fun day of training for our teams. We are committed to offering many opportunities to teach new skills and to help consultants reach their goals with Thirty-One Gifts. Bringing Deb Bixler, Direct Sales Guru, to New Hampshire is an example of the commitment we have to our teams. They are poised for tremendous success in 2012. Go ladies!!

Even if you’re not a football fan, no one wants to be stuck in the kitchen when everyone else is partying in front of the television!

Alden & I had such fun in Cancun, Mexico earlier this month! Yes, Cancun! We could hardly believe it as we haven’t had a real vacation like this ever! Just the 2 of us! Wow! How did we get there? Courtesy of Thirty-One Gifts! Yes, FREE! Thirty-One paid our air fare, hotel & meals. They even gave us travel money for food in the airports AND $350 each to spend when we were there! We had our first couples massage and traveled to Chitchen Itza for a tour of the Mayan Ruins. It was amazing to just relax and be taken care of for 7 days! And, next year I plan to bring many of the ladies on my team. It can totally happen! When my director, Corrie Edling, went in 2010, I never imagined I’d be with her this year on the Leadership trip. But with commitment to my biz last winter, there we were! Thank you, Thirty-One!!
Why?
One of my favorite parts of being a leader with Thirty-One is helping other ladies discover their “why” … why they want to build a Thirty-One business. For some it’s to pay off credit cards, some to be home with their children, some to leave a job they dread getting up to every day.
Recently I had a great conversation with a consultant who didn’t necessarily need the money, but loved Thirty-One and felt called to start a business. We talked for some time as she was driving cross country to her family’s new home in Washington. She delved deep to share that she has a tremendous caring for others and is a big-picture thinker who truly wants to live at the world level. She has a goal of doing mission work for those less fortunate, and to work in cancer research and make a significant difference for those who suffer from this horrible disease. As she’s about to have her first child, her life will soon shift to the 24 hour care of her precious newborn. Yet, she still wants to work her Thirty-One business so she can donate money for cancer research.
I am inspired by her as she lives her life with BIG goals. Interestingly, the next lead I received from our Home Office today was a request for a party. Where? In Washington! 6 miles from where she is staying! It is so much fun watching God work and unravel His plan. May God bless her & her husband as their family expands and as they build their new home in Washington. May His work always be done!
Favorite Summer Thirty-One Product!
I have been a Thirty-One consultant for 1.5 years and have so many favorites but, my most favorite is the Large Utility Tote. When we head to the beach, we load up our large utility totes and head for the lake. All of our towels & snacks fit perfectly. After we are finish with our day, I load up the wet towels in the large utility tote & to the laundry room we go! Next use for the large utility tote? Laundry basket! It works great!
